An ikat banner (Maawa) from Toraja, Sulawesi. The length adorned with supplementary brocading (Songket). This piece is early twentieth century & is very unusual. Length is 2.4 metres x 62cm. Condition is excellent for age with a small stained area. NZ$475.00.
