Oásis Ōamaru is in a superb Victorian building in Oamaru, North Otago, New Zealand.
Built from local limestone, it was completed in the early 1870s. A Heritage New Zealand covenant covers all the buildings in the neighbouring streets.
The store’s focus, colour, and quirkiness lead to an Asian focus on our antiques, art, and interiors. We hand-select all our pieces with regular imports from Indonesia and China.
The best of New Zealand and British studio ceramics, vintage New Zealand photography, and a superb selection of reference books, both new and old, on subjects including Canterbury and Otago, fly fishing, and hunting are sourced on the local market.
